HSA Checking

  • The minimum deposit required to open this account is $100.00.
  • A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a tax-exempt trust or custodial account established exclusively for the purpose of paying or reimbursing qualified medical expenses of you, your spouse, and your dependents.
  • The average daily balance is calculated by adding the principal in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period.
  • At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on your account.
  • Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of
    non-cash items (for example, checks).
  • Interest will be compounded monthly and credited to your account on a monthly basis.
  • The interest accrual method is 365/365 days.
  • There is no limit to the number of monthly deposits or withdrawals on this account, including, checks, ATM withdrawals, debit memos, ACH or POS withdrawals.
  • We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
