Blackhawk Bank & Trust Still Not For Sale

Recently, the Blackhawk Bank (Blackhawk Bancorp) headquartered in Beloit, WI announced they have been acquired by First Mid Bancshares, Inc. of Mattoon, IL (see article). We are taking this opportunity to clarify to our customers and our community that this financial institution is completely separate from Blackhawk Bank & Trust. 

Due to the similar names, we have often been mistaken as the same institution, but in reality we have no ties or affiliation with the Blackhawk Bank of Beloit, WI. 

Blackhawk Bank & Trust is proud to remain Not for Sale. We remain Safe, Solid & Secure as your Quad Cities-based community bank.
