Blackhawk Bank & Trust announces plans for new full service branch in west davenport

On September 18, 2026, Blackhawk Bank & Trust announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the former bank branch property at 3325 West Kimberly Road in Davenport, Iowa. Located adjacent to Kimberly Commons, the property will become Blackhawk Bank & Trust’s new full-service banking office upon completion of the acquisition.

The new West Davenport office will expand Blackhawk’s presence in Scott County and provide greater convenience for current and prospective customers throughout west Davenport and the surrounding communities. The location will also establish Blackhawk’s first Davenport branch west of Elmore Avenue and further strengthen the bank’s growing presence in the Quad Cities.

Headquartered in Milan, Illinois, Blackhawk is a 65-year-old community bank with approximately $2.0 billion in total assets and locations throughout Scott County, Iowa, and Henry, Mercer and Rock Island Counties in Illinois. The expansion into west Davenport reflects Blackhawk’s continued investment in the Quad

Cities and supports its long-term strategy of making banking more convenient and accessible while preserving the personal service, local decision-making and relationship-focused approach its customers know and value.

Blackhawk currently anticipates opening the branch in late 2026 or early 2027, with timing dependent on customary regulatory approvals and transition work. Additional details, including grand opening plans, will be shared as they are finalized.
