Hawaiian ham and cheese sliders

Prep: 10 min
Total Cook Time: 35 min
Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. package Hawaiian dinner rolls, sides attached
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcesteshire sauce
  • 8 oz. thinly sliced Swiss or white American cheese
  • 8 oz. thinly sliced ham
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley

Preperation:

  1. Preheat the broiler on high. Remove the rolls from the packaging in 1 piece. Using a serrated knife, cut crosswise through the center of the rolls at once to divide the top half from the bottom half (keeping the sides of the rolls intact). Place both halves, cut-side up, on a baking sheet and broil until lightly toasted, 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, and Worcesteshire sauce.
  3. On the same sheet tray, spread the cut sides of the rolls with the mayonnaise mixture. On the bottom sides of the rolls, lay the cheese slices in a single layer, slightly overlapping if needed. Then, lay the ham slices in an even layer over top. Cover with the top half of the rolls.
  4. Brush the tops of the rolls all over with the melted butter, onion salt, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Cover the sheet tray and bake for 10 minutes. Uncover the tray and bake until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden and toasted, 10 to 15 minutes more. Sprinkle all over with the parsley. Cut along the lines of the rolls into individual sliders and serve immediately.

instant pot creamy chicken

Prep: 5 min
Total Cook Time: 14 min
Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 to 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese cubed
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 8 burger buns
  • Salt & pepper
  • Bacon bits

Preperation:

  1. Place chicken breasts into Instant Pot and add 1 cup water. Close the lid of the instant pot, close the pressure release valve and set the instant pot on Manual, High Pressure, for 9 minutes.
  2. Once cooking is complete, let set for 3 minutes and quickly release pressure.
  3. Remove chicken from pan with tongs and discard the juices. Return chicken back to pan, one at a time, and shred with two forks.
  4. Place cream cheese, shredded cheese and hot sauce into the pan and mix well. If you want the traditional ranch flavor, you can add a packet of powder ranch dressing as well.
  5. Shred the chicken using a couple of forks and add remaining ingredients. This will keep the pan warm and help melt the cheese.
  6. If the pan cools and you are having a hard time mixing the cheeses, turn your instant pot on warm and let it heat up, but be careful not to burn the cheeses.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and add bacon bits.
  8. Serve chicken on toasted buns.
